Disneyland Recap! {WIAW}

Hi guys!!! I just got home today from my AMAZING weekend down in Southern California. Since my trip had two parts [Disneyland and then Santa Monica/UCLA] I thought I'd recap both separately. Here's the first {WIAW} part of my weekend- I had such a fun time being a kid again in Disneyland with my family!!

Both days we were in Anaheim I put together a healthy breakfast to start the day off - we were at the park by 8am so I definitely needed some energy!
I brought the Wasa flatbreads and barney butter from home, got the banana from the hotel breakfast, and picked up two Chobanis at the store (the day we got there) because I knew I would want some protein! Both days I ate the same thing for breakfast and it powered me through LOTS of walking!
We got to the park right at 8am so we could make sure to go through our favorite (most popular) rides a few times each.
day 1 - comfy walkin outfit!
day two: tank top time! and i didn't even get sunburned!:)
First two rides up: Indiana Jones and Space Mountain!
(had to use flash on indiana!)
my face in that picture is PRICELESS.
On both Saturday and Sunday we went on Space Mountain and Indiana about three times each (using fast passes as much as possible!). Next up was Thunder Mountain!
It was the first ride of the day that we had to wait more than 10 minutes for - but it's one of my favorites!
Silly faces happened.. :)
A little after noon we headed over to California Adventure to eat lunch and ride the Tower of Terror and California Screamin'.
We bought lots of fruit crisps, Powerade Zeros, and waters throughout the day because it was HOT! I love that Disneyland has a lot more fresh options now [fruit, pretzel/hummus packs, veggie/dip packs, etc] because they're a lot healthier than most of the other food sold there.
We packed lunch & I ate lots more than pictured- tons of bars, roasted almonds, apple slices, goldfish, etc.
And then it was time to hit up the rides!
My brother and I rode California Screamin' six times the first day and five times the second! That coaster is seriously one of my favorites.

Onto Tower of Terror!
By mid afternoon our energy was starting to drop, so sugar was necessary. Soft serve to the rescue! We got cones the size of our faces that were AMAZING. so worth it!
On the second day we headed back over to D-land to watch the parade!
By the time we got back to the hotel both nights I was exhausted- but in a good way! We got the skinny crust Round Table pizza both nights and I loved it!
All in all the two days we spent at Disneyland and California Adventure were SO MUCH FUN. I can't wait to go back!

Stay tuned for part 2 of my vacay recap tomorrow or Thursday- we went to the Santa Monica pier and lots more!

what's your favorite ride at Disneyland?
