hello my lovelies!! the past few days have been hectic craziness. today i got to hang out with all my freshmen at orientation and had a blast!! i think i might be losing my voice from all the screaming and cheering, though :) school starts on wednesday and i can't believe it's this close!!! my blogging frequency definitely will decrease because i'm going to be cah-razy busy but i love blogging too much to stay away for too long. i also have a super exciting appointment tomorrow that i can't wait to tell you all about. other than that, the past few days my eats have been the same old same old so I figured it would be better to give you all the recipe i promised! enjoy!
Grandma's Macaroni and Cheese
This dish is the most comforting dish I know how to make. Old school classic mac n cheese that is super creamy and cheesy. Enjoy!
Serves 8-10 people
You will need:
- 1 pound macaroni noodles
- 1 12-oz can fat free evaporated milk + 1/3 cup water
- 1 Tbsp mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Cook pasta according to directions on package and drain. Return to pot.
- Add milk, water, mustard, salt, and pepper to pasta and stir.
- Over low heat, stir in cheese until melted. Let pasta mixture simmer until the sauce is thickened.
- Serve!
Best. Mac n cheese. EVER!
Enjoy!
